Upgraded to custom frequencies, now i cant connect

I have just installed custom frequencies on 2 of our routerboards 532r5 3.10. And did the reboot.
Now I cant connect to them anymore. I have been out on the site and connected directly to one of the routerboards,
my pc get a network cable has been disconnected at intervals, and i cannot find it using winbox.

Do i have to get a lift and connect a serial cable to reset the board, or are there other ways of resetting it on the ground?

Please help

You need to add the custom freqs to the scan list or it will not work. The scan list only scans the default freqs the radio uses without the superchannel license.

In the box you put something like (this is only syntax example): 5200-5800 (and with comma between you can add more) ex 5100-5300,5700-5900 etc…

You will find this will solve your problem.

ps… only necessary on client sides

Thanks I needed this information, I just came back from the towers, I had to netinst both routerboards, they hung on No kernel found

umm, how do i change the default scan-list, or add a new one?

Espen

no way, just enter the frequencies in to the “scan-list” parameter. you now have “default-ism” just change it to “default-ism,5700,5500,5300” (whatever you need)

and what is the syntax for doing so?

Espen

umm use the SET command ??? please see manual
