Upgraded to V7.10 on LHG LTE18 no Webfig/winbox connection

HI everyone I am having real issues connecting to webfig or winbox after I upgraded to 7.10. If I reset the router (climb up ladder, open flap, unplug, plug back in and hold for 5 seconds etc) I can find the device both direct connection to laptop or through my network (Router to Ubiquiti UDMP WAN port, then through switch to AP), but once I have configured everything, unplug the cable from laptop put it back in the switch I can no longer access the router. Even directly connected again to the laptop, winbox will not see the IP or MAC in neighbours, is there a new firewall setting I need to change? I noticed there is a notice on first connection about a default config, sometimes I would get something like mac discovery options where you tick the firewall router box but not always. Which of these should I enable or disable ? Really getting tired of running up and down that ladder even with my crocs in health and safety mode it is still sketchy!!!

I forgot to add I also tried connecting via the app which used to work and that is no longer connecting either.
