I am having trouble upgrading a Mikrotik from x86 5.1 to x86 5.5. I am using file zilla to push the files, but a few files fail to transfer. I think it is because there is not enough free space on the mikrotic. when i log in to the mikrotik i see that there is 40.1mb of 61.4mb used, so like 21mb free. the upgrade files are around 35mb. the only files on the mikrotik that i can see are mikrotic files that don’t take up much space. how do i clear up space on the mikrotik so that i can do the upgrade?
my archive shows 18mb for the install on x86… not 35.
just upload the packages you need and its even smaller.
maybe you have user-manager or dude store taking up space? i think the store menu will show you that.
just drag the files from the desktop into the files window on winbox and it will upload them, no need to use zilla.
