That practical speed is a lot more than the current 4g setup
The throughput also depends on the aggregation set of the base station you are connecting to and its capacity.
Thanks, got it. That's the max of the USB2 protocol. And that limits the sum of the download and upload. No much difference with a good LTE card.
It seems to depend a lot on how the ISP has it set up too, they might have the maximum speeds more restricted on LTE bands due to the high usage compared to 5G.
On all my LTE devices (including EC200A-EU, FG621-EA and R11I-LTE7) I'm getting no more than 50/30 Mb/s download/upload, on the T99W175 I'm getting 270/130. On the ATL 5G I'm getting 690/130. All on the exact same ISP and tower (that's with 5G NSA, SA is not available yet where I live), and at the same time of day.
In a different city I was able to obtain 150 Mb/s download on the EC200A-EU, but back then I didn't have any 5G devices to compare.
