i have two rbs (1000&532a) with the version 3.13 and 2.29 , kindly help me upgrade to the most recent version .i dont have NTP Client and NTP Server on one and i download but it not working.
i have download RO 6 but yet when i drag and drop on the packages it show (could not change the key, invalid key) kindly help me upgrade my RO.

I not sure, allowed upgrade to ROS 6 for such old routers, if not License level reset to 0 (24 hours of uptime demo). Write to support@microtik.com to check or prepare old version npk for downgrade.
In old ROS (before 4.x, may be before 5.x), You need to Drop *.npk to open Files window.
Check, files uploaded in root of Files (not in subfolder if any exists).
Almost miss it. For versions before 3.28 You have 7 signs Siftware-ID.
So You need after upgrade make Update License Key

Is the version number you mention the firmware version or the RouterOS version?

when i fill the software key upgrade:
user:admin
password:no password
server:192.168.2.1
license N level:4
pay method:prepaid keys.
it give me connection failed .

You need to contact support@mikrotik.com
ROS version of course.
“Update License Key”, not “Upgrade|Get New Key…”
and You need Internet connection on PC, because it online action.
According to Your license information, Your router can be upgraded to latest ROS v4.
As I mention before. Contact support@mikrotik.com with supout.rif to better help.
On older router OS versions (4.x and below), make sure you actually drag the .npk file into the “Files” dialog box, or you will get this message
how to install RbOs using netinstall , how can I installed a v6 into my Rb1000.
