I have a RB 433. When I try in install any of the ups-3.*-mipsbe.npk it tells “Key Change Error” “Could not change the key - invalid key”

I just seen that error today. How are you trying to install the package? I assume from the error, you are trying to drag and drop into winbox?
I did this, and tried to drag a file into the “packages” area, but when you drag and drop into the “Files” area, you will not get this message.
But I am sure you probably figured this out by now?
I just found out what i was doing wrong. I had to install all of 3.22 not just that package.
im pretty sure that you can download the all packages file, and install any items, one or many from that.
I did however notice that in 3.22 trying to install a package via webbox did not work, it would not upload the file. This was when I tried to install one package.
oh well..
Check your log after a reboot and it should say if the package was installed. and if not why is was not installed. in my case i had a 433 with 3.6 and when i tryed to install 3.22 packages some would work but ups and one other package that i cant remember the name. UPS needs 3.22 to work right.
ups has been around since as long as I can remember.
Did you install “combined package”?
I do not beleive combined package has UPS in it, as well as some other packages that are not common.
I guess there is no point to this thread, since, you had an issue, that apparently is fixed, but I never did now how you installed the packages, or which one, or ones, ups package does not require 3.22, as far as I know, I have seen UPS around for a while, never installed it myself, but i know it was there.
Was an interesting issue, but hard to figure out what is wrong if the information needed to help figure it out isn’t presented, eg, HOW you are trying to install the package,… blah.. I have to go… this is one of my dumbest posts, if a mod wants to delete it, they can.
