Urgent! Basic Hotspot Advertising Setup

We have several Campsites and City where we have implemented hotspot access and they now want a landing page to be displayed everytime someone tries to access the internet.

I just need basic instructions on how to get the advertising or landing page to show up when someone goes online. All equipment is Mikrotik. We tried checking the Advertising box and adding a website address for testing purposes but nothing happens. I’ve looked at the wiki and we still can’t get it to work not sure what we are missing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

By default if you use the “Hotspot Setup” under Hotspot, you should get a default landing page. Have you tried it?

We’ve had the hotspot setup for a while and people have been using it but when someone goes online they don’t get redirected to the website address we specified in Advertising.

Go under walled garden in Hotspot. Does the IP or URL show the Letter “D” for dynamic?
