URGENT HELP NEEDED CANT LONG ON OR PING MY MK ROUTER

HI EVERYONE,

AM NEW TO MK JUST ASSIGN TO MANGE MY FIRST MK ROUTER, I WAS PLAYING WITH IT AND WAS TRYING TO CREATE FIREWALL RULES AND I ENABLE A RULE THAT HAS SHUT ME OUT, NOW I CAN LOG ON TO MK WITH WINBOS NOR CAN I PING OR TELNET,

BUT WIRELESS CLIENT CAN LOGON VIA PPOE AND BROWSE BUT ANYTHING ESLE I CAN DO ON IT.

PLS I NEED HELP AS I CAN DO ANYTHING ON THE NETWORK NOW,

Reset your router to default configuration.

First, turn off caps lock and stop shouting.

Then, grab a serial cable and console in and remove the offending firewall rule.

Thanks for ur help but if i reset the router i dont have enough tech skills to config from scratch secondly it up on a mast and using ppoe to power so cant even get access to do serial connection

So what do you advice me guys, like i said am only learning MK for the first time to go easy on me.

Well if the board is on a mast, then there is absolutely nothing you can do, except climbing up and fixing your mistake via serial cable or by resetting configuration.
Next time when playing with firewall rules, at least enable safe mode, fewi already gave the link.

what about MAC WinBox?..

Yes, forgot about that :smiley: It is possible with mac winbox and mac telnet.

hey guys thanks for all your concern but how do i go about using the MAC winbox or MAC telnet to remove the rules causing prooblems for me.

I would apprecite a step by step procedure on how to go about it

AHA, I GOT IT, I FIGURED OUT HOW TO USE THE MAC ON WINBOX,
