I have been in this industry for over 20 years so I’m not new to routers. I am however very new to MikroTik hardware and am very impressed with everything so far.
I just purchased a Cloud Core Router 1016-12S-1S+ and have installed it into one our our colo datacenters and this thing is giving me fits! Everything I do to it gets it hard locked and unresponsive. The only thing I have found so far that works is getting the watchdog to do a reboot when it’s locked up (which I can perform with amazing regularity).
I need to set this router up in the simplest of ways. I have 32 public IP addresses and need to route these addresses specific ports to the private addresses (nat). I also need to make sure this thing is STABLE and dependable.
I have emailed support but they are very slow to respond to this issue. It’s ticket number 2015041866000077 if any of you support folks are out there reading this post.
I need this fixed ASAP as I’m at a loss and this is for a client. I don’t know if this is okay to ask here but I am willing to PAY for someone to fix this issue for me ASAP.
