I’m using an RB411U to make an hotspot. To add a username, the customer must send a SMS, which is read by a script looking in /tool sms inbox.
Sometimes (ok, very often) usb port is marked as “invalid” or it is regulary recognized, but can’t receive nor send SMS. Usually a reboot solve this problem.
The board is a RB411U with ros 5.12 and firmware 2.39. The usb key is a “HUAWEI Mobile” vendor-id=“0x12d1” device-id=“0x1001”, vodafone branded (I’m in italy).
Between USB port and 3g key, there is a USB cable about 30 cm long.
There is some workaround to solve this problem ?
