I have been playing around with Mirotik and a USB wireless modem(s). I got one working very well and wanted to see if I could add another one working. I got it dial and connect but since they are both get an IP in the same subnet and the second modem adds another gateway that is the same gateway as the other, only the first connection gets used.
I have been thinking about it but I am unsure how to load balancing outgoing traffic in this type of scenario. I read the docs on equal cost routing but the second gateway is the same IP as the first and is disabled by the system as invalid. One of the units get all the traffic and other gets nothing.
Also is there any way to monitor signal strength with on these serial/usb wireless modems?
