I have myself a nice shiny RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN. It works great for everything I have thrown at it so far, multiple vlans, SSID’s, some BGP routes and had a little play with the MPLS config there a while back aswell.
But the problem that I have come across is that I can’t seem to get it to recognize an external USB HDD. It works just find with a USB Thumb drive I can get logs onto it and SMB shares work not a problem but it just will not detect an External USB Hard Drive.
I have downloaded the same RouterOS (v6.10) and run it up on a VM x86 box and it detects the same drives formats them and can use them with no problem, But my RB2011 just won’t detect it.
Has anyone had this issue and knows how to resolve it or am I missing something?
