If I reboot the routerboard situation is same, for a long time the ppp connection start work again.

print of log:

There is MODEM HUNGED UP, do you think that modem is bad? Or configuration?

Thanks for any advice

The modem huawei E160 we used long time, problems with it never was, works ideally.

I have seen this “stream” with the Sprint 598U modems…

What version of RouterOS?

The latest 3.X version was to have the keep alives altered…

I dont know if this made it to 4.X yet…

If you click on status under the ppp-client (tmobile in your case) it will very likly dissconnect the modem..

If the “dial on demand” flag set?.. If so and you want ithe link to automatickle recover from hang ups and not wait for traffic, then clear that option… (Dial on demand should be off for an “allways on” connection)

Remember that T-Mobile has a 5G limit on the 3Gs… overage is very $$$$ unless you got a contract that allows it..

Also T-mobile FORBIDS the use of the 3G device on a network device… (on the trerms of use on their website)..

Tengo el mismo problema, el modem conecto 1 vez, luego lo reinicie y no anduvo mas
queda inicializando y luego modem hunged up
gracias

I think that problem is solved.. whne the flag Dail On Demand is not checked the warning modem hunged up is not in log and ppp connection is OK

Thank you very much for advices!!
