USB Resources on WRAP boards X ROS 3.20

FYI …

Last weekend I “donwgraded” from 4.01 beta to 3.20 I run os WRAP (1E and 2E)

Checking system > resources I notice that USB tab does not shows any info.

I created a test flash and install 3.17 and 4.01. Both versions shows USB resources ok:

  • OHCI Host Controller
  • Memorex 2G Flash Drive
  • HUAWEI 3G Modem

But at 3.20 nothing is listed (but all working ok, my public interface is the 3G modem and the flash-drive is a web-proxy store disk.

Aditionally, under “drivers” tab there is now one “USB Option Modem” that there was not on previous versions.

try emailing a support output file from your router to support@mikrotik.com so see why it doesn’t show any info in the USB menu.

Yes, this is the correct option. Since all USB peripherals was runnig ok I left it this way, waiting for 3.21. Then some days ago I set support output file to support and received back a version “3.21” which correct this issue.
