USB Support on x86 laptop

Hello all,

I have created VPN solution that use multiple LTE dongles from remote users, but router got stuck and we can’t repair it. While waiting for new one to arrive, I have installed RouterOS on a laptop, but when I connect USB dongle to laptop, router just doesn’t detect it. Is this supported on x86 installation? Just to mention that router is still running without license, waiting to confirm that it’s going to work before I add a license.
I need this urgently, so any help is appreciated!
Thanks in advance!.

Does it detect usb controller at all (and not just as unknown device)? RouterOS x86 doesn’t support all available hardware, and laptops are definitely not the main target, so it’s possible that it can’t work with it. Before playing with LTE, start with simple flash drive, to see if you have any chance.

We received RB750R3, and now we are working with them. The problem is that I now only see 4 dongles connected maximum, and not sure how to add others too. If I remove dongle 3 for example, one more will show up in LTE interface list, but maximum 4 every time. Is there a limit how many dongles can be attached to hub for RB750R3? We are using HAP AC lite with 8 without a problem.
