USB Thumbdrive integration

Hello All,

I recently formatted a usb thumbdrive with ext3 format and will plug it into the USB port on the side of the Mikrotik Hex
my question is, will the thumbdrive integrate once plugged in and be recognized by the system in terms of its capacity?

if not are there some commands i could get for integrating the thumbdrive?

Hello Graham,

yes I believe it should work fine. There is a possibility that the router will still choose to format it (I assume that when you said you formatted it, you used a linux box or similar).

However, I have used a USB stick easily by plugging it into the USB port, let the router format it then ready to go.
