USB UPS connected to RB4011 wifi version

Hi, is there any way how to connect APC UPS (USB interface) into RB4011 (RB4011iGS+5HacQ2HnD-IN)?

Like over CONSOLE port?

Take a look here https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:System/UPS

Yes, but 4011 not have USB, just RJ45 CONSOLE port and UPS have just USB type B connector. So I was wondering if CONSOLE port is same like serial port and can be used for talking to APC UPS …

Yes, it is the same. Not sure if it can be safely used for talking to UPS though.

Console port is serial/UART but if your UPS have USB cable, so it will not work… unless you can switch UPS into serial mode somehow.
RB4011 is really missing the USB ports and sadly Mikrotik have not implemented them.
Probably saved <$5 of the $200+ this device costs by not having USBs… it’s a shame.

So nit possible just “wire” pin to pin?

somehow to USB-B connector or DB9 connect to USB cable - USB to USB-B

I know it’s an old thread, but I figured I would post here in case anyone comes along later and wants to add a usb port. I ordered a mpcie to USB3.0 card and I’m going to use it to run a flash drive for a Dude server. (I know I could probably went mpcie SSD), I’ll post back when it comes and I’ve had a chance to install it. (I’m posting this as a placeholder so I can come back to it easily).
