Use a SD card for save temporal files in a script

Hi!

I’m using in one of our RB450G Mikrotik routers one script for DynDNS taken from this forum (thx to the developer).

It saves a temporary file to the memory for use it as it was a html cookie for the IP on dyndns.

I see this router has more bad blocks on memory than others (bought at the same time) without this script. I think it could be because the script it’s writing to the main memory a lot of times and we’re wasting the write cicles of it.

I want to know if we could use the SD card slot for save this temporal file instead of using the main memory (more expensive to change when it become full of bad blocks).

Thx for read.

yes you should, just make sure you have compatible sd card
