Use facebook only for 1 hour

It is possible to use site “facebook” only 1 hour a day ?
Time range From 19:30 to 22:30.

What is the configurations ?

yes, you can make an address list (in firewall) called “facebook”, enter all it’s IP addresses there, then make a firewall rule that blocks these IP addresses, and specify firewall working time in the rule.

i use a DHCP on laboratory school and do not have a static ip :frowning:

It is possible with DHCP ?

I use a filter rule that has
chain = forward
content = facebook.com
action = drop
comment = blockfb

scheduler calls 2 scripts
Block times
ip firewall filter enable “blockfb”

Pass times
ip firewall filter disable “blockfb”

That works for everything on my network.

Did I do it wrong?

It doesn’t matter what address you use. My suggestion is to block facebook IP address (not yours)

Hello wallnas. Do you wish to allow for specific 2 hours (say from 2AM to 4AM) or any two hours (choice of user)? If any two hours, then unfortunately, you cannot do this with RouterOS. You can only set specific working time for the firewall rules.

The limitation can be for hours at your choice of user not a specified range of hour (01 am to 10 am): this is possible ?

I’m sorry to say, but Perseptolis is not correct. As you can see, in that rule you have to specify exact times of day (from-to)

I’m trying to restrict an ip from using internet at day from 8:00 am to 7:59 pm and allow from 8:00 pm to 7:59 am. Is it possible?
