i have MT 3.17 with socks enabled on it on port 1080 when i use this socks for browsing it work like a charm but when i use it for msn or yahoo or any other chat program it stop working any help plz. i set access rule to allow all src-address and src-port. but without success.

yes for sure normis u can go to options connection advanced and u can use socks for msn.
how did u make socks work, pls post the rules.
i just pick socks ip from sockslist.net and i want to be able to use it in the router, but i didnt get it.
pls post rules for this.
so i can just put 1080 port in my webbrowser and work.
