download from here I upload it for you.. but in rar file.

don’t download it  it uses only one core, one stream and will not give you meaningful results. this is a tool for Windows 95 age.

Normis are you going to bring anything new for both ros and Windows multicore and multistream with the ease of use like actual btest? I mean some kind of btest 2?

It is a pity that now there is no btest on the site mikrotik.
I often use it to check the speed in the local network, from device to RB

I agree. If you run the test between two Mikrotik’s, the result should show pretty close to what the USER will experience. Maybe you should specify the ethernet port from where and to where the test should be running.

Since I do not have full access to the “remote” location. Of course, VPN and telnet / SSH / Winbox work, but I cannot start a FTP session from the other computer to mine or the other way around.

What I saw in Cisco Meraki implementation: If a user “complains” about slow WiFi, so you can login on the web, and run a dummy download test FROM the Cisco AP to the servers of Cisco. That way, you can see if the ISP is the problem, or the WiFi. You should do it multiple times, to avoid gaps in the internet speed. But it showed every time the 58 - 60 Mbps I had from my ISP. So I knew that the speed problems were not related to the ISP’s internet pipe.

Maybe this should be implemented in Mikrotik? For example, speedtest.net shows pretty realistic values. Maybe it would be possible to do a speedtest directly from Winbox?
