Hi,
I wish to set up a free hotspot in a public library but, for the “Pisanu Law”, I need to store logs and personal datra of all user that connects to the hotspot.
In other words…people that want to access to the hotspot must give all personal data (name, surname, personal document ID) to a person that creates and enable the account.
All this data must to be stored (and backupped) for about 3 years…
My question is…Is there a software that supports mikrotik as hotspot and has a simple interface to create and store user information in a db?
Yes…but I don’t uderstand where it stores the info…do you know it?
I know that are commercial software that act as authentication and log server…Is this true?
/tool usermanager database save
This creates a *.umb file which as far as i know can only be read by usermanager. It saves all user data and logs.
AND/OR
/tool usermanager user export
This creates a *.rsc file which can be read by notepad or any text editor and requires a second command for the logs etc.
Both file types can be copied from the file list in winbox.
