Hi,
I currently have v5.19 running on a x86 pc, with user manager.
Setup:
MT + UM (PPPOE and Hotspot) --ether2–> Switch —> UBNT Bullet ------> Wireless Users
Mikrotik uses two ports:
- one from the ADSL modem (Internet) (ether1)
- one DHCP/Internet to Clients (ether2)
The outgoing (ether2) links directly to the switch. From here the Bullet (Passthrough) is also plugged in, which PPPOE and hotspot users connect to and gets IP’s.
All IP’s on ether2 are assigned from the same IP Pool (this includes PPPOE)
Problem:
I have a HTTP File Server with various content for clients to download, that is also plugged into the switch (same IP range as users)
Unfortunately, for some or other reason, downloads from the file-server is still being accounted, even though I disabled “Enable Accounting” and “Account local traffic” on Mikrotik: IP > Accounting
The queue shows no download activity* when a user downloads from the server, but when the user logs into user manager to see usage, the downloaded file was accounted.
I already have a Queue tree set up to bypass user queue limits and all users log in via user-manager.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
