Hello,

We are using RB1000 with RouterOS 4.4, User Manger 4.4.

We are thinking of
a) taking a regular backup of the User Manager database
b) transferring it to a remote machine for archival purposes
c) and then clearing the sessions, so that disk space does not grow

Questions.

  1. What is the rough size (in bytes) of the User Manager session record? How many sessions per KB?
  2. Is there any way to read the User Manager database (.umb file) outside of the RouterOS? It would be useful to have a way of reading session information from archived/backed-up .umb files?
  3. Is there any way to export User Manager database info (session records in particular) to some text format such as .csv?
