User manager logging in hotspot users

Greetings,

I’m attempting to set up a payment gateway through paypal using Mikrotik’s user manager. I have a routerboard with user manager both on V5.23.

I’ve combed through the wiki and forums, but I cannot seem to get a solid response on this.

The hotspot, user manger, radius, and paypal settings have all been configured and appear to be working, but the usermanager will not log the user in once they have paid. The account is created, can buy credit, and they can log into the hotspot after paying, but they do have to manually log in after paying.

Here is the sign in process from the user’s experience.

  1. User connects to the hotspot.
  2. User gets the sign on page and links over to the user manager sign on page.
  3. User creates an account and selects paypal as the payment method. At this point an account is created in the user manager.
  4. User is directed to paypal site, pays, and then clicks “Return to merchant’s website”. At this point the proper profile is attached to the account.
  5. User is then directed to the hotspot sign on page again, and now can log in using the user manager account.

Is there any way to skip step five so that the user becomes active in the hotspot as soon as they pay? Or is this the expected process when using paypal, user manager, and hotspot?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

in this case your only create a user with online payment option,

so, to use hotspot service & more , it is must to login with ID & password,

else you can bind that user’ IP / MAC / for use hotspot without login ,

you need to do it once ony, in hotspot IPbinding

Thanks for the response Samir. That is kinda what I was thinking the answer would be.

I’m confused about what creating an IPbinding would accomplish. If the user was bypassed in IPbindings, they wouldn’t need to pay for internet access and wouldn’t need a username or password. :frowning:

once you make ipbinding user is free to use your service without paying anything

Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of setting up a payment gateway though?
