I am missing Usermanager software in the router and i tried to go to mikrotik web site and i have downloaded the usermanager software and netinstall v 3.23
and i connected my computer with serial and Ethernet cable but i couldnt manage to install the user manager so i don’t now whether its the router os v3.10 which is install in the router doesnt macth with the netinstall v3.23
please give me the clue
You should install ‘combined’ package 3.23 + User Manager 3.23 on RB1000, then it should work fine.
I can not connect using netinstall v3.23
in router os 3.10 what should i do
Connect router and computer directly with Ethernet cable.
Make sure that Windows computer does not have any firewall, that there is only one Ethernet interface enabled. Look at the Netinstal configuration, there should be Boot Address, it should be the address from the same subnet as you have on the Windows interface.
Check that boot from Ethernet is configured on the router.
