user-manager profile v5.RC5

Hello im trying to build api client to mantain user-manager but there is somethink i cant find.

Did any one seen user-manager profiles in CLI?

because when i add user he need’s to get profile (under www panel it is possible) but with winbox it is not…

and i hate this www panel :slight_smile:


maby i ddin’t be clear enough… There is no way to add/edit profiles for user-manager via API or winbox or CLI. the only way to do this is via Web. why? i thought that evrything can be done vie CLI…

there is no way to add corectly user via CLI… it will get error beacuse he had no profile added… any hints?

“Should” be there but I’d imagine that the lead (only) developer on the User Manager side of things leaving has put a halt on development.

I don’t hate the web manager, but I’d love to automate my provisioning process.

Mikrotik, please add this. It is a much needed feature.

old news. user manager is back, please upgrade to v5rc11, it works fine there.

Um, not sure what yo mean by its back - but I haven’t been following the RC releases, just downloaded the stable v5.0, and see no where in the cli to adjust or change the profiles. Was it there and then back, but now gone again? Or am I looking in the wrong place.

thats all thats available on the current release of 5 as of 07th April 2011
