My question is, for sure, in the routing, Mikrotik is very very good.
and the wireless now also is very very good to us.
i may said we love that 2 thing, but, when come to the end user, there is nothing much we can do with it.
if User Manager can be same level with that 2 item, it will no longer just as display item to us.
i believe that, mikrotik team know well how is the radius server work out there, will be the User Manager take care by one of the Mikrotik team?
the development of user manager is lower priority than RouterOS core functions like you mentioned. We are currently only fixing problems that people report, and no new features have been planned for UM in near future
Any chance to get user manager (via command line and api) to attach a profile to a user?
In old 4.x I could set a group-name in the /tool user-manager user section to specific users. That would attach a user to a hotspot user profile when they logged in. It has disappeared in 5.x and I am hoping it will come back…or at least some similar way of doing the same through CLI and API.
