User Page conundrum

“User page can be found at address: http://Router_IP_address/user?subs=publicID”
(http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/User_Manager/User_page)

RouterOS 2.9.40
Router IP address = 10.0.0.33
Subscriber = admin
Subscriber’s publicID = CCCT
User = tony
http://10.0.0.33/tony?admin=CCCT” = Page 404 not known

Secret of actually getting this to work =

(Yes, sergejs, User-Manger IS running on 10.0.0.33 and there IS a user called tony who DOES belong to subscriber admin whose PublicID IS “CCCT”.)

Anyone?

If there’s a fee to be let into the secret I’ll pay it.

You have to use the particular link http://router_ip_address/user?=…
instead of http://router_ip_address/user?tony?=…

Sorry, sergejs, that’s as clear as mud.

http://10.0.0.33/tony?=CCCT also results in page 404 not found.

Given the info in my original post, what should the address be?

You should not use any of the user description to get this page,
use link as it is,
http://router_ip_address/user?=CCCT
Do not use any tony or other user.

At last! Thanks sergejs.

There was me thinking that as you substituted the actual IP address for “router_ip_address” and the actual PublicID for “PublicID” you also had to substitute the actual user for “user”. Silly ol’ me. Guess I’ll never be able to think the way you computer people do.

My subscribers are permanent users who pay for a fixed data allowance per month. My need is for a way they can log on and simply see their usage for the current month so they can’t complain at me when they overrun their allowance and have to pay excess MBs. Is there any way of doing this?

Hi SweetSunday

Perhaps you should post your request on this thread:
