user profile rate limit

I have Mikrotik 4.11 with hotspot. If I want to create a user profile with download speed of 384kbps and upload of 32kbps. Is it enought to specify the rate limit as 32k/384k.

I notice that for one of the users the download speed for users in the profile sometimes jump to 450kbps. and stays between 375kbps and 395kbps

Yes, that is enough.

Some jitter is normal. But also ensure you haven’t set any bursts.

So it is OK to leave Burst unlimited

It is OK to leave the burst unconfigured, in which case users don’t get to burst.
