Dear Mikrotik,
I have rather uncommon problem related to way RouterOS starts on RB4xx (RB450 in my case). In some places I’m using RB450 not only as router, but as “reset controller” for external devices. I’m using signal from UserLED anode to drive base of NPN transistor, which then drives optotransistor which then excites 220V~ relay coil. Unfortunately after RouterOS boots it’s flashes UserLED twice for very short time. I increased bootup delay to increase time when led is lid during firmware startup, but double flash seems to hasn’t got any config. As You probably suspect, flapping 220V~ relay with load applied isn’t a good idea, especially for inductive load like transformers. So could you make tiny modification for future RouterOS relases and disable this flashing? ![]()
