Userman does not work after IOS Update

After upgrading my IOS from v4.9 to v4.10, my userman does not work. Error 404. What should I do to correct the problem?

did you also upload the userman package? check “/system package print”

the userman package is not included in the main package, it’s a separate download

Why don’t mikrotik include userman in standard npk package distribution instead of downloading the separate zip file of all packages as userman is standard package it should be included with npk package.

because userman is very big, and a very small percentage use it.

OK thanks for clarifying it but i seen its size is just 500 kb only…?

when your NAND is 16MB, that’s a lot. Plus it takes up resources when running. Also, the new Userman is over 1Mb

After I uploaded the new userman package, shall I just reboot? what about the existing user database? will it automatically connect to the old database?

reboot and see what happens, the logs should say whether the installation was successful
