Not sure what happened to my last post, but to recap, I recently upgraded Userman to v4.5 test on routerOS 4.5 x86. I love the new features and the ability to customize the webpages. My original issue was after I upgraded, I had a primary key issue when adding new users. I then went under maintence and rebuilt the database issue solved. I then had the issue of not being able to change the price under profiles. The price was locked. I uninstalled Userman v4.5 test , rebooted system, reinstalled userman 4.5, rebooted system, uninstalled userman 4.5, rebooted and reinstalled userman 4.5 test. Database gone but I had created a backup before the uninstalling and reinstalling as a safeguard. I restored the database and now I can edit the price under profiles. My last issue has to deal with the sign-up page. Comes up no problem, but when I test the sign-up page it creates the user without going to Paypal with $(gw) added to the end of the web url. It is not going through the payment gateway and it is not going to the redirected url at the end of the signup process even though both are enabled in userman. I realize this is a test version, with the exception of this last issue all is working great. Anyone have any ideas on why the signup webpage is not transfering to Paypal? Or when v4.6 will be released? Any suggestions will be appreciated. Hopes this helps others, too.
Just found another quirk. If a user was already created, logs into their user account they can purchase one of the profiles and it does send them to the Paypal site to collect their payment. However, if they back out without making a payment, the user is still credited their payment and allowed to use it.
Thank you for responding, however the price issue was solved by uninstalling and reinstalling userman 4.5. My issue now is with the signup page not sending new users over to paypal. The url at the top changes to ../$(gwurl) at the end after you click the button. However, if a user is already in the database they can sign into their user account and try to purchase. It sends them on to Paypal as normal. If they back out before payment process the user is still credited the purchase and allowed to use it.
Has Userman Test 4.6 been released yet? I have found where routeros 4.6 has been released. Seraches have came up null for userman 4.6 test. I would like to upgrade x86 to routeros 4.6 but can’t without userman test 4.6 package. An upgrade without the test package would revert userman to v3 which will destroy the userman database. A link to Userman 4.6 Test package would be very helpful. Thanks.
Thank you Mikrotik Staff! Userman 4.6 test is working great! Keep up the good work! Our sign-up page and payment processing through Paypal works fine. People seem to forget when a problem is fixed to show their appreciation. One little quirk we have found is a rebuild of the database has to be done weekly. Small bug, not really worth mentioning. Again thanks for the hard work that has gone into this program.
