I have used UserManager for a number of years with success in a certain way that I have found to work that is stable, and I have learned to trust it and its behaviour.
Now I am trying to do the following, and believe me I tried, obviously not enough because I just can not get it to work properly, correctly and cut the user off at the correct time. It is so elementary that I can not believe I cant get it going.
This is what I am trying:
I want to make a profile with limitations that give users access Monday to Sunday 0h00 to 06h00 (iow daily) in a 30day window period. In this window period they can use the network only between 0h00(able to sign on) and 6h00 (cut off and only able to singo on at 0h00 again), and only for a set amount of bandwith and then get cut off.
Is there anyone who can guide me in doing this? Mostly the issue I pick up is the users will not be cut off at 06h00. I must be doing something wrong?
May be it is a router setting or a radius or a radius server setting. I run several routers on this usermanager (radius) server and on my other profiles the cutoff’s work when limits are reached. I am using ROS V6.5 usermanager.
Any advice will be appreciated.
