Hello,
Now users can use the internet freely without being introduced to a login page!
Yesterday, everything was normal… users connect to the access point then the login page is displayed, after successful authentication, they can surf the internet for a limited time.
I didn’t touch the configuration at all!
I have a simple topology that goes like this: DSL Router > Mikrotik Router > Access Point..

My questions are:
Can this be timed? I’ve been the admin of this network for only a month.
How can this be reversed? getting back to the old config.

I’m new to this and I’d appreciate your kind help.

Look in “/ip hotspot profile” and check the value of login-by. If “login-by=cookie,http-chap”, then that is normal. The user may be logging in by cookie without being aware it is happening.

IP>Hotspot>Server Profiles: I have two profiles, both have “Login by” = “HTTP CHAP” only…

PS. It seems I can only surf the net from my laptop, others can’t!
Update: actually, the clerk here tells me that some people can use the internet and others can’t; all not introduced to a login page!
