I’m having trouble with a Routerboard 220 I just installed. It’s in Ap-Bridge mode and theres about 30 clients hanging off of the wireless interface.. I setup my wireless access list and I only see 2 clients that are registered and associated with the AP. There are a few other clients that come up in the registration table but only for a few seconds to about a minute and then they disconnect. Any ideas? This Mikrotik is replacing an Orinoco AP that wasn’t functioning properly, I’m using RouterOS v.2.8.21 Level 5.
Here is my interface configuration:
0 R name=“wlan2” mtu=1500 mac-address=00:02:6F:06:A4:F9 arp=enabled
disable-running-check=no interface-type=Prism mode=ap-bridge
ssid=“ssidname” frequency=2452 band=2.4GHz-B scan-list=default-ism
supported-rates-b=1Mbps,2Mbps,5.5Mbps,11Mbps supported-rates-a/g=“”
basic-rates-b=1Mbps basic-rates-a/g=“” max-station-count=2007
fast-frames=no dfs-mode=none antenna-mode=ant-a wds-mode=disabled
wds-default-bridge=none wds-ignore-ssid=no default-authentication=no
I suspect this might be a RouterOS problem because I’m not quite sure it updated properly (it shipped with 2.8.18 upgraded to 2.8.21), and I’m missing some features in the wireless tab on the interface like output-power, I used to be able to select the output power of the NIC (200, 100, 50mw).
