Using 1 wapac. Set to cap or dual ap better?

Bro which setting is the best?

The best solution is the one that suits you.
It really depends. If it’s “just” a small apartment and the AP is used for home use, nothing is speaking against setting it up as dedicated AP.
Labor-wise, setting it up as CAP it would be pretty much the same.
If you need scalability, either AP- and/or SSID-wise, going for CAP is surely better.

Be aware that CAPsMANaged networks do not support MTik’s proprietary extenions, so just adding another MTik devica in station-bridge mode to hook up regular wired devices to the existingg WiFi does not work.

thanks bro reply!!

1.i saw so many function using cap mode is can not use…EXAMPLE CAP SCANNER
2.cap mode …vap don’t know how to config…

Well, there is a couple of features “missing” in CAPsMAN, but no real show stopper. CAPsMAN works great for its purpose.
Adding vaps is as simple as creating a new configuration and adding it as slave configuration in the provisioning entry.
