Using 2ghz-10mhz mode

I’m trying to over come some interference issues by using 2ghz-10mhz option. I’m running wrap board with CM9 and using pacwireless antennas. When i choose 2ghz-10mhz or 5mhz mode my wireless scan shows nothing at all. Go back to 2.4GhzB/G and everything on the scan list comes back.

Do i need to use any special antennas to take advantage of that mode ? Or any license issues with Router os like when i use L4 licence i can’t implement that 2ghz-10mhz stuff ? Or any other ideas that you experienced?

My antenna is Pacwireless PAWVA24-16 Vagi 2.4Ghz which is said to support 2.4GHz to 2.483GHz 802.11 applications on their web site.

both sides of the link must be set to 10mhz mode (and thus both sides of the link must be mikrotik devices)

On the routers scan list i put the configured frequency and it worked. Thanks to Mikrotik support.

interface wireless set wlan1 scan-list=default,configured_frequency
