I know the ether ports 11 and 12 are bypass ports but can they be used for anything else?
For example can I bridge them with another port or add them to a switch group of the other ports?

You can bridge them with other ports, of course.
Cannot assign them to any switch group because they aren’t (hardware-wise) part of none of the switch groups:
