using hAP ax lite to extend existing network

Hi all,
I am running a MikroTik hAP ax^3 C53UiG+5HPaxD2HPaxD to run my local LAN; at present it is a DHCP server and router; hopefully it will become a VPN server, too.

I want to extend my LAN and my WiFi adding two Mikrotik hAP ax lite L41G-2axD.
Both hAP ax lite will be connected to hAP ax by cable; what I’d want to reach is to have all clients in the same network, regardless of the AP they are connected to, and regardless of the fact they are connected by cable or by WiFi.

I did not find out how to configure the “lite” routers; can anyone give me some hints and pointers?

Thanks,

Andrea M

Simply config both ax lite as normal ap.

If you really want to go overboard
consider setting up capsman.

you need to set up capsman to yours main device, and connect this 2 ap to it.
i have same situation: hap ax lite and ac2.
in ax lite i start capsman controller, and on ac2 connect wifi modules to ii.

If not using capsman, then this is the correct link Holvoe… https://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?t=182276
