Hi, I have searched through the forums and cant find the answer i am looking for. I am needing to connect a Netgear unite 815s to routerboard 2011 with version 6.40.5 installed. The netgear will be only source of internet for router. I either need to connect them through wireless if possible or through usb, which i have it plugged into now with. I see the usb device in resources section but cannot figure out how to configure the device from here. Would someone be able to get me started with this.
First of all. What for you need to connect them? The clients will access the internet through MikroTik? Then do /30 network between routers and configure classic dhcp server for clients connected to netgear.
Yes the clients will connect through wireless to the mikrotik router. This part is already setup and working. I just cant get mikrotik configured to use the netgear as internet source.
All you need is default route from Tik to netgear and on netgear route back to LAN on Tik.
