Using our 1sts Production RB1100AHX2! Couple of Questions

Hello all, long time reader first time poster in the forums. We went live with our first production core router last night. Our old firewall was reaching it’s limits. So far this router isn’t even breaking a sweat!

A couple of questions, well one really. In our old router we could see how many IP’s were left in any given VLAN’s DHCP pool. Is that possible to do with the RB1100ahx2 or routerOS?

P.S. Yes we wanted to wait for the CCR, but just couldn’t hold off any longer, our old router was really doggin during peak times. :frowning:

in the IP POOL menu you can see how many addresses are used (not how many are left). If you know total number, you can just subsctract

Is utilization of a specific pool, total IP’s, total used, total remaining a feature that could be looked at added to the routerOS? Seems like something that wouldn’t be too hard to implement since it already knows how many are currently being used… Thoughts?

Ok, so I see where you can see ALL DHCP addresses used, but how do you see how many are used just for a specific pool. Right now we have 25 pools, and they all show up. Is there a way to have it show how many IP’s are being used just by Pool20?

/ip pool used print count-only where pool=Pool20

That worked, thank you for the help. Curious why no mention of this in the manual, unless I missed it.

Thanks again
