Using RBmAP2n as a wireless to ethernet client device

Hi there

I am looking to use a RBmAP2n as a wireless client to Ethernet lan cable

[Public Wifi] → (Wireless [RBmAP2n] Ethernet) → [Desktop machine]

Looking for a straight pass-through no firewall no nat etc.

SO the Desktop machine gets its client IP address via DHCP from the Public Wifi.

So far I can get the client IP address fine, but when I try using the connection no traffic appears to work.

Any ideas?

Is the Ap mikrotik too? Are you using the wireless bridging mode on both sides?

nope its a PUBLIC wifi, ie I have no access to the unit or config
