I have two separate sites (A and B) that are connected by a state fiber optic network (Transport) to my Internet provider. I am wondering if there is a way to combine the use of bandwidth from sites A and B without having much control over the left half of the diagram. I am currently setting up Site A as a simple bridge with client radios controlling bandwidth use. I hope to setup Site B in 4-6 weeks. I am not locked into any particular configuration at this time and am open to any suggestions. I would like to implement some form of automatic fail-over as well.
The “Transport” part of the diagram is currently configured by the provider as a “Layer 2 multipoint to multipoint VPN similar to MPLS VPLS”. It is configured as 802.3 (standard Ethernet) but can be configured as 802.1q (allowing a single VLAN tag) if that would be helpful.
I have attached an image of my basic setup.
Thanks, Chris
