Using URL's on hotspot walled garden

Hi,

I’d like to use URL’s (instead of IP addresses) to allow websites on the walled garden hotspot configured on my RB-1000 with routerOS 3.23 (for testing purposes, i’m configuring the hotspot on an ether2 port). However, when i insert the URL on the “Dst Host” box and test it with a PC, it doesn’t seem to work and i’m redirected back to the hotspot login page. Doing the same thing but using an IP on “Dst address” instead of a URL it works fine for another website. Now I’m not sure if it is a bug and it should work, or if i’m doing something wrong.

Standard port 80 websites in the walled garden work ok for me on V3.13. It is the secure sites (SSL port 443) that cause me trouble. I still put the IP addresses of the authorize.net servers in
/ip hotspot walled-garden ip
or the walled garden will eventually quit working.

For what it’s worth, I had the same problem on a recent version (don’t recall the version, could have been 3.23). I removed my walled garden rules and re-added them and they started to work fine.
