Amazing ideas arise by the new products that come out.
ok, here s the question. Would it be possible to have one WAP LAR2 in each rural cottage providing low speed local wifi but connected over 1 km via LORA technology? 3 cottages connected to a gateway providing internet to all 3 remote cottages? what would be the speed in this case using 2.4 ghz for LORA and 2.4 ghz for wifi as well? the gateway can be another one WAP LR2 ? ( i know there is better ways via LHG5 etc,but this one is interesting)
Thank you for your time folks.
it’s feasible to set up one WAP LAR2 in each rural cottage for local WiFi, connected over 1 km via LoRa technology. However, keep in mind that LoRa typically offers lower data rates, so the speed may be limited, especially for internet access. Using 2.4 GHz for both LoRa and WiFi can work, but expect slower speeds compared to other technologies. It’s a creative solution for remote connectivity, albeit with some limitations in speed.
thanks for the reply. slower speeds is expected, but can be very flexible, even on a vehicle. i think for messaging and email should be ok where
other methods require static installations. Another WAP LAR2 can serve as gateway maybe?
