Every time I reboot the router the configs get reset to factory defaults. I’d upgrade to beta4, but it already locked up two of my routerboards.
Should I send a supout.rif? has anyone else had this occur?
Check the RouterBOARD 500 with 2.9.38, make sure JP1 jumper is not closed.
It was closed. I don’t recall ever closing that jumper did some RB500’s ship like this?
remove jumper from JP1, try to test it again.
Yeah I removed the jumper and the problem ceased. I was just wondering if this was a new software change that makes JP1 a reset, or if it had been like that all along.
it was all along. in case someone forgot password to log in into router, if not JP1 then if you forget passwd, board would be rendered useless. (or as parts)
