v3.10 x86 huge problems

Hi all,

Recently I upgrade my two VRRP routers from v2.9.x to v3.10, upgrade was done without any problem but few days after everything starts to break a part

both routers are intel based platforms (intel D and intel c2d)

my master router from time to time loses some parts of configuration, few days ago i logged on winbox and notice some configuration are missing, after restart i had kernel panic error and was unable to fix that so i reinstall routerOS :frowning:

and backup router shows strange behavior, first after upgrade i was unable to start it from cf card connected to ATA (it’s P35 based motherboard) so i was forced to install it on sata hdd :frowning: but lets say thats OK cause im feeling much serious problems with this version and p35 motherboard, when backup router is in backup state it can work for days… but if my master router fails and backup become master after few hours router just reboots and i have error message boot disk failed :frowning: so i need to shutdown router wait for half a minute and start it, and then he boots properly but after few hours we have same scenario…

Am I only one with this kind of problems, or just v3.10 is not ready for x86?

will i have problems if i do downgrade to 2.9.x?

Thanks,
Nikola

But did you know that VRRP have completely different RouterOS implementation in 3.0???

I usually recreate all configuration from the 0, when moving from one mayor version to other.

AFAIK - there is no mayor bugs on x86 at the moment (v3.10)

yes, i configure it from the start

vary strange
