What’s new in 4.17 (2011-Mar-02 10:53):

*) fixed occasional print command stalling when lots of items;
*) fixed RB1100 ether11,12,13 and RB800 ether3 resetting problem;
*) implemented usb power-reset command on RB SXT 5HnD;
*) wireless-nv2 package now includes the same fixes as RouterOS v5rc11; wireless-nv2 package in v4.17 is now the same as wireless package in v5rc11

Has the following fix which was incorporated in ROS v5 RC9 been also been included in 4.17?

*) wireless - more improvements for 11n compatibility;

Thanks for the reply Normis. Since this aspect was listed seperate in the list of fixes for RC9 and since wireless-nv2 is a separate package to the wireless package, this was not clear to me. Thanks for clearing that it has been included.

can you tell me what to choose for rb750g router… there’s only 700 and 800 option
can you also tell me how to limit connection(upload/download) of every IP which is on…?

700 series. 750 starts with 7.

i downloaded .npk file and it doesnt want to upgrade…

i made limit like here http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Queues_-_PCQ_Examples but nothing really happens. it doesnt limit nothing

So the, “I wanted to reboot the router, but it shutdown instead” issue wasn’t fixed in this release?

what issues is that? please clarify, I don’t know about such issues

Sometimes router is hanging before reboot. This problem will be fixed in v5.
