We had a difficulties with part of our network over the weekend, last wed morning after a stormy night got calls that part of the network was down, logged in & had to mac-telnet to AP’s (433ah + XR5 ) running NV2 - reboot, all came back but then Saturday evening the 493AH which is connected to the AP’s started rebooting continuously also was all of the AP’s (433ah + XR5) NV2 V5.20, we had to take down each AP reset then re-flash, they are functional now, but strange the PTP’s that were using 802.11a protocol were not effected also a standby AP (433ah+Xr5 ) but this which at the time was set to station mode was not effected ???
Also at another site 6KM away 1 AP (again 433ah +XR5 NV2 v5.20) was rebooting continuously but the PTP using 802.11a was not effected, also there was a RB750 had to reset and reflashed,
I am somewhat confused by why NV2 AP’s + 493ah + RB750 were effected but not PTP’s running 802.11a?
It was most frustrating having to send a climber up a mast to bring down AP’s just to reset and reflash, it there a way to send system reset to a board that is connected and powered by POE and is just rebooting ?
